The fingerprints
An entry names Replit Agent only when these are visible on the page. Defaults are not a verdict; shipping them unchanged is.
- A login or sign-up flow on a site that needs none
- Dashboards of grey placeholder bars
- Copy that explains the app to the person who prompted it: "This app allows users to"
- A replit.app or repl.co address
Before you ship it
Remove the login until there is a reason for it, replace placeholder dashboards with the real one or a plain description, and rewrite the copy for the customer, not the author.
The tells its defaults trigger
- "Built with" badge left on: A floating "Edit with Lovable", "Made in Framer", "Built with Durable" or "Made in Webflow" badge that the free plan adds and the owner never removed.
- Published on the builder's domain: The site lives at something.lovable.app, bolt.host, replit.app, framer.website, durable.site, webflow.io or godaddysites.com, with no domain of its own.
- A form that submits to nothing: A contact or sign-up form with no action, no handler, or a success message that appears whatever you type.
- Errors in the console: The browser console shows failed requests, missing images or script errors on the home page.
- No sentence only this business could have written: Read every sentence on the home page. None of them names a place, a person, a year, a price, a real customer or a real limitation.
